The Museum

The museum Liedtke was designed and built from 1987 until 1993 by the artist Dieter Walter Liedtke.

He combined the topo-graphy of the environment with the architecture of the mu-seum in a marvellous way. A wonderful symbiosis between nature and building created an asymmetrical architecture. Detached rocks and visible formations of stone were integrated in the building forming the museum. It shows the most important artworks of the artist of the concrete evolution of the years 70's, 80's and 90's as well as the original works of his artformula of 1988, the important art historical works of his redescription of the white geneprogrammes and the white genesections of the 80's and 90's and the knowledge paintings, which lead to his new evolution theory of the system of knowledge.
